How to edit your Tapt contact profileUpdated a year ago

Need to know before editing a profile
By default, cardholders do not have individual access to edit their profiles. Only accounts given admin permissions will be able to edit profiles on the web browser. If you are unable to log in, or upon logging in no profiles are visible, it's likely that you haven't been invited as an account admin.

In order to gain access, you will need to contact your administrator or reach out to us at [email protected] (please note, we only are able to grant you admin rights if your account owner has given us authority to do so).


To edit your profile, simply
 log in via https://cards.tapt.io.  On the home screen, you'll see 'My Profiles'.  To edit a profile, click the Pencil icon to the right of a profile on the profile you wish to make changes to. 


The five sections of each profile 

1. Personal Information

This information will appear on your profile page when someone taps your card. It will also be referenced when printing personal information onto your physical card.


2. Social Media Links
These will be displayed as icons on your profile. Click the '+ Add new social link' and chose the desired platform from the social channel dropdown menu. Make sure to paste the full profile Social URL (EG https://www.instagram.com/taptofficial/, not @taptofficial).
Tapt Tip - Use the up and down arrows to organise your socials in order of importance. Is LinkedIn the most relevant? Stick it at the top!

3. Company Information
Let people know who you work for, where to find you, and a secondary contact number.
Please note - unless you've listed a company name, no information will be displayed from this section on your profile. 

4. Quick Links and Files
Upload and host any number of links and files on your profile for your clients to view or download. Just select the '+ Add new quick link/file' Lead gen forms, sales brochures, and shop links - create a custom button for it on your profile!

5. Enabling/disabling the contact exchange form 
Choose whether you would like a lead capture form on your profile page. You can edit the form fields in the settings tab of your profile. If you want to know more about customising this form click here.
